How it works

Six steps from your old system to pod.vet.

    We learn how your practice works, which system you use today and what you need on day one.

  2. Data extract

    We take an export from your current system. You don’t need to clean anything up first.

  3. Test conversion

    We load a copy of your data into pod.vet. You check patients, balances and histories you know well.

  4. Team training

    Reception, nurses and vets each learn what they do every day, with tutorials to come back to.

  5. Go-live

    A short, planned cut-over on your quietest day. The last data comes across and pod.vet opens.

  6. Aftercare

    We check in through the first weeks, with support Monday to Friday and a technician on standby after hours.

Will we lose any data?

We take every step to make sure nothing is missed. We agree up front what comes across, then load a test copy into pod.vet so you can check it against your old system before anything goes live.

How long will we be offline?

The final cut-over is a short freeze, usually planned for your quietest day. Most practices are fully operational on pod.vet within a few weeks.

Which systems can you move us from?

We have moved practices from different providers. Tell us what you use today and we’ll look at an export with you.

Is there a cost for migration?

Yes. A once-off data conversion fee applies, depending on your current system and how much history comes across. We quote it upfront.
